Carter’s Confident Care partners with a variety of insurance providers and support programs to make accessing care easier for the families we serve. We currently accept:
UnitedHealthcare Long Term Care (LTC)
UnitedHealthcare LTC plans help qualified members receive support with personal care, daily activities, and long term assistance at home.
How to check your eligibility:
You can call the number on the back of your UHC card and ask if your plan includes Long Term Care benefits. You may also request a care manager.How we can help:
Once you connect with us, we can confirm coverage, request authorization if needed, and coordinate care once approval is in place.
Humana
Humana provides covered services for eligible members who need in home personal care and daily living support.
How to check your eligibility:
Contact Humana using the customer service number on your card and ask if your plan includes in home personal care under long term care or community support services.How we can help:
Share your Humana member information with us and our team will verify your benefits, confirm what services are approved, and begin intake.
VA Community Care Network
The VA Community Care Network allows eligible veterans to receive authorized in home care through approved providers like Carter’s Confident Care.
How to check your eligibility:
Veterans can speak with their VA provider or care coordinator and request Community Care. You may also ask whether you qualify for home based services.How we can help:
Once the VA approves Community Care for you, let them know you would like Carter’s Confident Care as your provider. We will take it from there and coordinate directly with the VA.
Long Term Care Private Policies
Many families hold private long term care insurance through companies like Genworth, Mutual of Omaha, John Hancock, and others.
How to check your eligibility:
Call your insurance carrier and ask about your LTC policy benefits, elimination period, and daily or monthly coverage amounts.How we can help:
We can assist with benefit verification, claims submission, care documentation, and any paperwork required by your insurance company.
Workers’ Compensation
Workers’ compensation insurance may cover in home care for individuals recovering from workplace injuries.
How to check your eligibility:
Speak with your adjuster or case manager and ask whether in home personal care or daily living assistance is authorized for your injury.How we can help:
We can coordinate with your adjuster, provide required documentation, and begin care as soon as we receive authorization.
APD Waiver Services
Carter’s Confident Care proudly supports individuals receiving services through the Agency for Persons with Disabilities Waiver. These services help clients live safely, comfortably, and independently at home.
Covered services may include:

If you already have a support coordinator, tell them you would like Carter’s Confident Care as your provider. They will handle the approval process, and our team will complete any required paperwork.If you don’t have a coordinator yet:

We also offer private pay arrangements for families who prefer flexible, direct payment options. Our team can walk you through available services and help you build a plan that fits your needs.
